OEF Solutions gains BTEC Level 4 accreditation for its new Incident Investigation training course from Edexcel

OEF Solutions Ltd is pleased to announce that it can now offer a new training course for staff and managers involved in carrying out incident and accident investigations within companies.

This course is aimed at organsiations who are looking to improve their safety record thorugh learning from incidents and accidents so as to prevent them re-occurring.

The course is accredited to BTEC Level 4. It has been tried and tested within the nuclear industry and is now available to all those companies seeking to improve their response to incidents.

Attendees are taken through a intensive 4 day course which helpes them to refine their understanding of the human side of incidents, gives them to opportunity to practice their intervieweing techniques and their causal analysis skills, and write fact-based high quality reports and formulate relevant recommendations for improvement.

The course can be held on your company's site - given sufficient numbers - and use incident scenarios in familar surroundings to improve understanding and competence.

‘OEF Solutions launched its new training course for company incident investigators on the 10th and 11th March – showcasing its approach to gaining an enhanced level of investigative skills for those in a company who will need to carry out this role. With increasing legislation and regulation in incidents and accidents at work, companies should take particular care when they look at incidents to be sure they can learn as much as possible from them to prevent them re-occurring.’

The full course lasts 4 days – preferably on the client’s site – the candidates get a workbook to start before, during and after the course that is independently assessed.

The presentation was given to two Dorset based businessmen, the director of the Best Practice Club, and representatives form the Submarine Safety group of the Royal Navy.
